Close to the 100th anniversary of its foundation, Cantine Lombardini once again won three medals in the most important international competition dedicated to sparkling wines.

 

Lombardini Winery was awarded with:

 

at “Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships”, the competition created and chaired by Tom Stevenson, the world’s leading expert on sparkling wines, who has made this challenge into the sector’s most authoritative competition on a global scale. 

 

In particular, was confirmed the achievement of our Sorbara Lambrusco Spumante Brut 1925, already awarded at the Vinitaly 5StarWines Wine Competition and at the Mundus Vini Competition in Germany, in which it was consecrated with the title of Best of Show Lambrusco.

The ceremony does not lack the emblematic Lambrusco "Il Campanone", made famous for its bottle that recalls the bell tower of the historic Rocca of the Gonzaga family in Novellara, and the new Lambrusco “Lombardini” Spumante Brut.

 

The Award to the Best in Class & Trophy winners will be presented during the traditional ceremony – finally with everyone attending once again in person – that will take place in London on the 3rd of November in the magnificent setting of Merchant Taylors’ Hall.

 

Almost 100 years after their foundation, Cantine Lombardini celebrate these prestigious titles, confirming once again their vocation for excellence and the incredible potential of the Emilia area for the production of “signature bubbles”, while remaining attentive and faithful in respect of the historical tradition of our beloved lands.
